About me

I’m a poet, editor, copywriter and a marketeer for ASDAN – an education charity. I was born in Dagenham, raised in Bath and am based in Bristol.

My poems have been published in Mslexia, The RialtoThe MothMagmaAnthropocene, Ink Sweat and Tears, Banshee, Steel Jackdaw, The Interpreter’s House, Neon, Propel Magazine, Under the Radar and on BBC Radio Bristol.

I have been poet-in-residence on Bristol Harbourside with Boat Poets and in 2022 I was appointed writer-in-residence at Exeter Custom House by Literature Works. I am an alumna of the Genesis Jewish Book Week Emerging Writers Programme and have written three immersive productions for Leeds-based theatre company, Riptide.

I was awarded the Brian Dempsey Memorial Prize for Best Single Poem and my poems were awarded second place in the Gloucestershire Poetry Society and Black Eyes Publishing UK Competition and third place in the Magma Poetry Competition. I have been shorlisted three times for the Bridport Prize.

I have a first-class BA in English from the University of Exeter and was awarded a distinction for my MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa.
